  1. We don’t recognize our need to listen.
  2. We don’t know how to listen.
  3. Our pride. We are over-confident in our ability.
  4. We don’t really value His opinion enough.
  5. We are unwilling to spend enough time with Him so we recognize His voice.
  6. We don’t believe God will talk to us.
  7. We’re distracted.
  8. We don’t quiet our spirit to listen. We’re listening to worry, fear or other voices.)
  9. We aren’t willing to do what He says.
  10. We are lazy.
